I have a friend in China and she brought her iphone with her. I want to call her but I know it might be expensive. We both have AT&T plans but no international plans. Is it better for each of use to purchase the international plan? just call her from a international phone card?…If I call her using this phone card, will she be charged international rates on her cellphone? What would you suggest I do?

Go with the international plan. Although it does cost 5 cents per minute for the phone card while it cost $ 3. 99 for the International Plan, you won’t know how long you’ll talk with that friend. Okay, say you talk with that friend for 2 hours per day six times a week that adds up to $ 24 a month compared to $ 3. 99 a month.
