Best way to call long-distance on my home phone?

I’m 16 and my best friend just moved to New Zealand. I live in Maine with my parents and have a part time job baby-sitting, but I don’t want my parents to pay for my long distance calls. Which is the best, cheapest way to call long-distance? Should I just get one of those long-distance calling cards? Will this show up on my parents bill at all? I don’t want my parents to pay at all or for this to show up on the bill. Thanks.

Chosen Answer:

your friend is in new zeal and you are in usa. you can use skype unlimited country package.
for only €3.95/month. this is the best offer. unlimited calls for unlimited time. what else you want in such a small amount. keep in mind that its PC to Landline package. for more details see the link. there are more packages , like skype unlimited world and skype pay per phone , but what i recommend is skype unlimited country package , its best for you. see the link below.

Have you tryed Voodoo, Long-Distance Calling Cards???

I am regularly spend 30 hours on long distance calling and I do not own home line (cell phone, duh), so I use calling cards a lot. For many years, Phoenix cards were the best option, not until I tried Voodoo cards!!!

First of all, they look young and its easy to see in crowded conveniences. They are young with their slogans like “Talking Cheap” and designs are made in black – white and pink.

Regarding their connectivity, I had no problems at all, my cell is crappy enough that sometime I do not hear or recipient doesn’t hear me; With these cards I had enhanced volume and overall the reception was amazing. Trends are changing, are you?

Thank you,
Eugene

long distance calling cards?

I live in Canada and want to make calls to other parts of the country.
My problem is that I only have a cell phone and I don’t want to rack up excessive roaming fee etc. when making long distance calls because my father gets the monthly bill (the phone is on a family plan)
Which calling card would be best for my situation?

Chosen Answer:
