Can you use a pre-paid long distance phone card on a mobile cell phone? It should be like calling a normal 1-800 number on a cell phone, shouldn’t it?

Yes. The only problem with that is that it will be using up your minutes as well. So if you get a prepaid long distance card I recommend you call at nighttime, since most phone carriers don’t take your minutes. Check out your plan. =)

Question by Megan: can you use a calling card to make a call to a cell phone in the United States?
My boyfriend is at summer camp (also in the US) and I want to know if he’ll be able to call my cell phone using his calling card he bought at camp. Is it possible?
