When i look at the store for a pre-paid phone card these days all i find is verizon or other cards similar i don’t that these will work on my home phone with At&t as my carrier will they? I don’t own a cell phone at the moment.
It is confusing out there it use to be easy before cell phones now all the cards appear to be for cell phone use only.

The best suggestion to you is to go to a gas station or CVSWalgreen’sETC & look there. I don’t believe they will work; you can contact your carrier — AT&T — & see. Otherwise, I would not risk it. Possibly, you could get a “Go-Phone” & buy the cards for that, instead.

I live in Canada and want to make calls to other parts of the country.
My problem is that I only have a cell phone and I don’t want to rack up excessive roaming fee etc. when making long distance calls because my father gets the monthly bill (the phone is on a family plan)

I have an elderly friend in the USA who is getting badly ripped off when she calls overseas by her phone provider. Can anyone tell me where she can buy phone cards that allow you to make international calls in New Jersey?
She doesn’t have the net so can’t purchase online, and I’m not referring to sim cards for cell phones.

And what kind? cause I bought one and it’s just too expensive to call a Philippine cellphone from here. .75 cents!!! But I really miss my family and would like to call them on their cell to surprise them..
