Question by PandaLorLor<3: if i get an international pre paid phone card do i get charge for long distance?
my husband recently had to move to mexico to take over his grandfathers business, and i have my cell phone to call him but i dont have a long distance/international calling plan.
if i buy an international pre paid phone card, will i get charged for long distance?

i don’t think you’ll get charged long distance, but you will get charged a lot more per minute…(for example a 100 minute calling card might only get 10 minutes). check the terms of the calling card

I live in the U.S. and I would like to make frequent calls to China…I’ve looked at a few cards but there are just so many of them….they all have some out rageous initial fee for connecting then the min. are okay but they expire….does anyone know of any good phone cards that I could purchase online?(it doesnt have to actually be a card…they can just give me an account number)…
