A woman stabbed the father of her children several times on Sunday evening when he gave her a cheap mother’s day present that she did not like, according to police. Paige Parkerson, 20, from Jefferson County, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the death of her live-in boyfriend Clifton JR Barkin, 22. Police were called to the house by his mother Evetta Wright, shortly after she got a phone call from Parkerson allegedly confessing to the crime. She told the Houston Chronicle: ‘Paige told me she killed JR, that he was dead.’ Mrs Wright had just dropped her son off at the house at 11.30pm on Sunday and that was after taking him to Wal-Mart to buy flowers and a Mother’s Day card for Paige. Barkin, 22, was stabbed several times and died just after midnight in the backyard of his yellow rental house. Mrs Wright said she believes Parkerson expected a more expensive gift, such as jewelry. I am thinking of buying a phone card to call my friends in the UK. Should I get a phone card or should I just call using their country code, etc. Also are phone cards safe?
Thanks
Chosen Answer:
You just follow the directions on the card. You scratch off whatever is the ID number or phone card number. You call the toll free number and follow the directions on the card. Keep track of how many minutes you have on your phone card.

I have a cell phone that is on a contract plan. There is a person that I let use my phone and whenever she uses it she dials the numbers on the back of a prepaid minute card and then she makes her call. I do not know how these cards work. By her using the card, am I still being charged for her calls. I tried to go on the website of the card but they have this weird loop that prevents you from actually emailing them. I can’t call them because I don’t have enough minutes on my phone and I don’t want to go over my minutes (my parents pay for the phone). Can someone help me out. If I need to give more details for u to help, I can.

Do any cards work? I’ve only found 1 that actually says it’s good for international calling. (AT&T)
Is there anyone that can answer this for me based on EXPERIENCE?
Chosen Answer:
No, you must use an AT&T calling card. They have a monopoly over there with the pay phones. The minutes can be costly. Ask your husband to check at the MWR on his camp and see if the have SPAWAR phones. They offer phone minutes for about 4 cents a minute. If you are going to go the AT&T route, buy a phone card at your local PX or have him buy one over there. If you buy one at walmart, you will get less than half of the minutes that is listed on the card, because of international rates. Like I said, ask him about SPAWAR. It saved me alot of money. Good luck.
